Medical billing services for physicians and medical practices

We handle the daily billing work between the patient visit and the deposit: charge entry, claim scrubbing, submission, payment posting and patient statements. Your team gets its time back and your claims go out clean.

What our medical billing service covers

Medical billing is the routine work that turns each encounter into a payment. It is repetitive and detail-heavy, and small errors add up: a wrong modifier, a missing referral number or a late submission can each delay or reduce payment. We take that work off your staff and run it on a fixed daily schedule.

Charge entry

Charges are entered from your encounters or superbills each day, checked against the schedule so no visit is missed.

Claim scrubbing

Every claim is checked for coding edits, payer-specific rules, missing data and NCCI conflicts before it goes out.

Electronic submission

Clean claims are sent through your clearinghouse, and rejections are fixed and resent the same or next business day.

Payment posting

ERAs and paper EOBs are posted line by line, so underpayments and denials are visible straight away.

Patient statements

Clear statements and reminders for patient balances, with a simple way for patients to ask questions.

Month-end reporting

A monthly summary of charges, payments, adjustments, denials and A/R, reviewed with you on a call.

How we keep claims clean

Most denials are preventable. They come from eligibility problems, missing authorizations, coding conflicts and incomplete patient data. We stop those at the start with three checks on every claim:

  1. Front-end check. Demographics, insurance and authorization are confirmed before the claim is built.
  2. Coding check. Codes and modifiers are reviewed against documentation and payer policy.
  3. Scrubber check. Claims pass clearinghouse and payer edits before submission, and anything flagged is fixed first.

When a claim is still denied, it goes to our denial management team, who correct it, resubmit or appeal, and record the root cause so the same denial doesn't happen twice.

Frequently asked questions

How quickly are claims submitted?

We aim to submit clean claims within one to two business days of receiving complete charge information. Rejected claims are corrected and resent the same or next business day.

Do you work in our billing software?

Yes. We bill in your existing EHR or practice management system with our own logins, so your data stays in your system.

How much do medical billing services cost?

Billing is usually priced as a percentage of the collections we bring in. The exact rate depends on your specialty, claim volume and which services you need. You get a written quote after your free practice review.

Do you bill patients as well as insurance?

Yes. We send patient statements and reminders for balances after insurance, and we can answer patient billing calls on your behalf.
